About the Role

The business is seeking a new team member to join the ITS and TCS project delivery team. The role works within the projects team, shares responsibility for delivering projects according to scope, and applies company policy to ensure successful completion. Reporting to the projects supervisor, the incumbent will oversee contractor works and conduct pre‑work site inspections. Core duties include investigating project activities to ensure all required works can be carried out, supervising specialist sub‑contractors, and delivering a wide range of projects in line with national and local standards, guidance, specifications and best practice. The role also involves maintaining required documentation, keeping record‑keeping systems up‑to‑date and communicating them to the team, as well as identifying trends and recommending improvement strategies and innovations. • Investigate project activities and ensure all required works can be executed. • Oversee specialist sub‑contractors during project delivery. • Conduct pre‑work site inspections and supervise contractor works. • Deliver projects in compliance with national/local standards, guidance, specifications and best practice. • Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and record‑keeping systems and communicate updates to the team. • Identify trends, recommend improvement strategies and drive innovations. • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers. • Manage time autonomously, meet deadlines and achieve objectives. • Ensure accuracy, reliability and first‑time right performance.

Desired qualifications include experience with ITS/TCS project delivery, knowledge of traffic signal fundamentals and TfNSW specifications, a construction white card, a full driver’s licence, basic traffic control, first aid/CPR certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Project.
