About the Role
The Account Executive role focuses on selling new business, managing and expanding client portfolios, and overseeing the entire sales process—from prospecting and demonstrations to closing, onboarding, training, and renewals—while representing CoStar at industry events. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by promoting CoStar products. • Manage and expand client portfolio, ensuring satisfaction with tailored solutions. • Develop expertise in CoStar’s products and the commercial real estate market. • Execute full sales cycle: prospecting, demos, closing, onboarding, training, renewals. • Conduct in‑person meetings and product demos for brokers, owners, corporations, and investors. • Represent CoStar at industry events and cultivate long‑term professional relationships. • Customer‑centric: takes ownership of client requests to successful outcomes.

What You Bring
• 3+ years successful B2B outside sales experience required. • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, non‑profit, in‑person university. • Track record of exceeding sales targets and commitment to prior employers. • Experience in client management and post‑sale support. • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record check. • 5+ years outside sales experience selling data, research, analytics, or similar platforms, preferably in commercial real estate. • Strong consultative selling skills with ability to build rapport and trust. • Keen interest in commercial real estate and willingness to develop product expertise. • Demonstrated success managing client portfolios and driving revenue growth. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities. • Results‑driven mindset focused on customer satisfaction and market knowledge. • Adaptable: quickly learns and applies new concepts. • Engaging: excellent communicator with client‑focused approach.
