About the Role
The Standard Operations Position involves supervising a high‑performing, safety‑focused operations team across multiple functions and facilities. You will ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations while driving continuous improvement and meeting corporate and business unit goals through effective policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include providing visible safety leadership, evaluating team performance against efficiency, reliability, and quality metrics, and implementing process improvements. You will also lead crew effectiveness, ensure proper staffing and resource availability, recruit and develop talent, manage employee performance, and represent the organization in bargaining unit matters. • Provide visible safety leadership and cultivate a sustainable safety culture. • Assess and improve team performance on operational efficiency, reliability, and quality metrics. • Lead crew effectiveness, ensure appropriate staffing, and eliminate operational barriers. • Recruit, train, coach, and manage employee performance to drive engagement. • Represent the organization in bargaining unit discussions, grievances, and corrective actions. • Oversee regulatory compliance by coordinating work execution and documentation.

What You Bring
The role requires at least five years of experience in design, construction, operations, engineering, or maintenance of utility systems or power generation plants, with an associate or technical degree preferred. Preferred qualifications include three or more years of supervisory experience, completion of an approved apprenticeship, and knowledge of utility finance and bargaining unit dynamics. The position involves rotating shifts and on‑call duties. • Minimum 5 years experience in utility or power generation design, construction, operations, engineering, or maintenance. • Associate or technical degree preferred; 3+ years supervisory experience desirable. • Ability to work rotating shifts and be on call as required.
