About the Role

This product design position focuses on heavy off‑road mobile equipment, applying reliable engineering methods, theories, and research techniques to solve technical problems. Engineers will develop concepts through to implementation, improving existing designs while ensuring compliance with global and regional standards. Key duties include assessing and prioritizing project requests, assigning appropriate teams, and overseeing quality and delivery. Engineers will design, develop, test, and document steel and aluminum components, welded structures, and hydraulic and electrical control systems, creating solid models and detailed drawings in SolidWorks and verifying them with analytical and finite‑element analysis. Additional responsibilities involve specifying testing procedures, managing bills of materials, and collaborating with global design, manufacturing, and supplier teams. • Assess and prioritize incoming project requests, assign teams, and oversee quality and delivery. • Design, develop, test, and document steel/aluminum components, welded structures, and hydraulic/electrical systems for heavy off‑road equipment. • Create solid models, assemblies, and detailed drawings in SolidWorks; verify designs using analytical and finite‑element analysis. • Develop testing procedures, specify component testing, and coordinate with materials groups and suppliers. • Maintain bills of materials, product structures, and service parts information while ensuring manufacturability. • Lead project teams, develop schedules, and manage resources to achieve optimal results.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold an ABET‑accredited B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience requirements range from entry‑level (no prior engineering experience) to senior level (5+ years, including supervisory experience). Desired qualifications include strong safety and quality orientation, excellent communication skills, proficiency in SolidWorks, Excel, and Word, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary projects. • Hold an ABET‑accredited B.S. in Mechanical Engineering; meet experience level requirements (0–5+ years). • Demonstrate strong safety, quality, and continuous‑improvement focus; communicate effectively in verbal and written forms. • Proficient in SolidWorks, Excel, and Word; capable of solving complex multidisciplinary problems independently.
