About the Role
The role provides technical support to the project team, mainly the senior project engineer, focusing on primary and secondary control, dimensional verification, and quality control/assurance for structural trades and related interfaces, while understanding scope, validation checks, and temporary works and safety procedures. • Establish and maintain secondary control linked to primary control. • Provide dimensional control for main contractor works. • Perform inspections to enable Mace verification of works. • Compile and keep comprehensive quality records up to date. • Review design information to ensure sufficient constructability details. • Act as a Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) according to Mace procedures. • Maintain an accurate and current site diary. • Coach and guide junior team members. • Build working relationships with internal stakeholders. • Contribute to net‑zero carbon transition by identifying and managing project emissions.
