About the Role
The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Specialist develops, leads and executes HSE programs for assigned accounts, ensuring compliance with internal, external and regulatory requirements. The role also supports the HSE team in developing and deploying management systems, tools and procedures aligned with standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and provides regulatory guidance to mitigate risks. • Develop, execute and govern HSE programs for assigned accounts. • Provide guidance on HSE matters and apply regulatory knowledge. • Ensure teams have tools and resources for safe work execution. • Maintain HSE management system registrations (ISO 14001, CSA Z1000, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001) and conduct audits. • Manage HSE performance indicators such as LTIR, TRIR, near‑miss and spill reports. • Lead vendor selection, budgeting, scheduling and reporting for HSE initiatives. • Monitor and enforce compliance through field inspections, audits and corrective actions. • Investigate incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures. • Design and deliver HSE training and communication to staff and clients. • Liaise with regulatory authorities and senior client representatives to ensure compliance. • Build and promote a strong corporate HSE culture. • Travel as required and provide 24/7 HSE hazard line monitoring.

What You Bring
The position requires a college degree in safety, occupational health, environmental engineering or a related field, plus three to five years of HSE program execution experience. Candidates must hold relevant certifications (e.g., Canadian Registered Safety Professional, ISO 45001 auditor, LEED GA), be bilingual in French and English when needed, and be able to travel and monitor HSE 24/7.

Benefits
