About the Role
As part of HDR’s Transportation Business Group, you will shape systems that move people and goods safely, efficiently, and sustainably. Projects range from resilient highways and iconic bridges to transit, rail, aviation, ports, and marine infrastructure, supporting economic vitality, public safety, and quality of life. • Direct and coordinate work of single or multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle. • Manage all aspects of large multidisciplinary projects or medium‑sized complex projects, overseeing a large project staff. • Produce and coordinate multiple projects concurrently. • Establish and maintain client relationships; participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings. • Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders. • Coordinate staffing and workload across the project life cycle to ensure timely completion of deliverables. • Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort to stay within agreed‑to budget and schedule. • Collaborate with Accounting, Operational, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews. • Implement QA/QC procedures. • Supervise large project staff and mentor less‑experienced Project Managers.

What You Bring
• Preferred: Master's degree. • Preferred: PMP certification. • Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. • Required: Minimum 10 years of related experience. • Required: At least 5 years of project management experience. • Required: Professional engineering license (PE or P.Eng) for the position location. • Required: Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project (Access a plus). • Required: Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills.
