About the Role
The AECOM Hunt team in Indianapolis is seeking an Estimator who forecasts total costs for commercial building projects, evaluates prints, materials, labor, and overhead, and prepares accurate bids and budgets. The role involves using company estimating systems, performing material take‑offs, compiling historical data, and assisting with larger, complex estimating assignments under supervision. • Forecast total costs for commercial building projects, evaluating prints, materials, labor, and overhead. • Prepare bid packages, conceptual estimates, and subcontractor bid analyses. • Perform material take‑offs and compile historical data. • Assist with larger, complex estimating assignments, including the Estimate Plan. • Use AECOM Hunt estimating systems and acquire basic estimating terminology.

What You Bring
• Hold a BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field with 2 years construction experience (or equivalent). • Prior experience in estimating. • Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, On‑Screen Takeoff, CMiC, and BIM. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word). • Position does not provide sponsorship for U.S. work authorization. • Must pass a pre‑employment substance‑abuse test.
