About the Role
The role is responsible for the package engineering of MEP services delivery, health and safety, and subcontractor performance and wellbeing, while liaising with the client, main contractor and consultants. It provides support in managing multiple sub‑contractors, sub‑sub‑contractors and suppliers on small projects and assists project engineers on larger projects. • Work within the project team, under direction, communicating and coordinating with colleagues. • Contribute to analysis, rectification and completion of MEP design using engineering expertise and management processes. • Assist in coordination and liaison of sub‑contractors, sub‑sub‑contractors and suppliers. • Accountable for programme, health, safety, wellbeing, cost and quality deliverables of the package/system. • Support coordination and management of interfaces between packages. • Liaise and coordinate with key stakeholders such as client, design and construction teams. • Identify risks and develop and implement mitigation plans. • Support incorporation of modern construction methods, digital technologies and prefabrication. • Contribute to implementation of Mace’s standards and project strategies. • Work collaboratively towards net‑zero carbon transition and manage associated emissions and reductions.
