About the Role

The Maintenance Manager oversees activities and staff responsible for the efficient maintenance of equipment. This role involves planning, budgeting, staffing, discipline, and implementation of maintenance initiatives while ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and corporate regulations. The manager promotes a safe work environment in line with OSHA requirements and ensures equipment is repaired and returned to service promptly. Key duties include overseeing preventative maintenance, optimizing utilization metrics, managing warranty claims, inventory, and generating regular performance reports. Responsibilities also cover hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating maintenance staff, as well as providing input for capital expenditures and maintaining accurate records of meters, parts, work orders, licenses, and warranties. • Maintain equipment in safe, clean, and optimal mechanical condition while maximizing utilization at minimal cost. • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable local, state, federal, and WM requirements. • Plan, budget, and staff maintenance programs, enforcing discipline and accountability. • Promote a safe work environment adhering to corporate and OSHA standards. • Implement and monitor preventative maintenance schedules and activities. • Optimize staffing & overtime ratios, PMI scheduling, warranty claim processes, spare equipment ratios, and parts/inventory management. • Hire, train, supervise, reward, and discipline maintenance personnel according to company policies. • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate maintenance efforts. • Evaluate and monitor the maintenance budget, providing input for capital expenditures and improvements. • Maintain accurate records for meter readings, parts inventory, labor costs, work orders, licenses, and warranties. • Generate and disseminate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance performance reports. • Meet physical demands of a mixed office/field environment, using standard office equipment and performing on‑site tasks as needed. • Ensure compliance with Real ID or TSA‑approved identification for required travel.

What You Bring

Required qualifications are an accredited bachelor's degree (or a high school diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience) and at least seven years of related work experience. • Possess a bachelor's degree (or high school diploma/GED with four years experience) and a minimum of seven years relevant experience.
