About the Role

The incumbent provides support to Superintendents and Foremen, overseeing trade labor hiring, transfers, and layoffs while ensuring projects have the necessary resources and guidance. The role acts as a liaison between field teams and project management, contributing to schedule adherence, quality assurance, safety programs, and development of operational plans. The job involves occasional physical tasks such as climbing stairs, ladders, and using construction hoists, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lb. Work is performed primarily on active construction sites where employees are exposed to moving equipment, noise, weather conditions, and potential hazards, and reasonable accommodations are provided as needed. • Coordinate assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions with Operations Manager • Assign and manage trade field assignments across projects • Provide ongoing support to Superintendents throughout project execution • Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foremen to keep critical activities on track • Document and communicate field issues affecting budget, quality, or schedule • Respond to subcontractor requests regarding budget, quality, or schedule impacts • Oversee development and maintenance of the Resource Allocation Control System (RACS) • Guide implementation of the Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program • Identify self‑perform opportunities and assist in proposal development • Manage performance of self‑perform work • Collaborate with Business Unit Safety Director to implement the BU Safety Program • Manage Review of Capabilities, Accomplishments and Progress (ReCAP) for field trades • Maintain succession plans for high‑potential tradesmen with Operations Manager • Manage training programs for tradesmen • Support Business Development, Estimating, and Project Executives with operational plans for pursuits • Assist Project Executive, Superintendent, and Manager in developing logistics plans and schedules during pre‑construction • Travel to project sites more than 50 % of the time

What You Bring

The position is located in the Cincinnati Main division at 45202, Ohio, and is classified as a regular, experienced, salaried exempt role within the construction family. It reports to the Deputy Operations Manager and Operations Manager and supports multiple project sites. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or possess an equivalent combination of education and at least ten years of relevant experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and SharePoint, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are required, and travel of more than 50 % of the time is expected.
