About the Role
The role sits within capital delivery, where you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver multiple water and water‑recycling projects under the AMP8 programme. You will ensure that the client’s project governance – including risk, cost, and change control – is adhered to while working closely with other business teams. Key responsibilities include supporting the associate director, providing subject‑matter expertise, and managing design teams, consultants and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. You will prepare integrated schedules, oversee time, cost, risk and budget performance, and drive digital and net‑zero carbon objectives while meeting strategic KPIs. • Support associate director in project and programme management. • Provide subject‑matter expertise to optimise project outcomes. • Lead design teams, consultants and stakeholders, handling scope, fees and change control. • Develop and maintain integrated design, authority, procurement and delivery schedules. • Manage project teams to achieve objectives and strategic KPIs. • Oversee time, cost, risk and budget, identifying mitigations. • Drive digital transformation and net‑zero carbon initiatives. • Contribute expertise in project management, engineering, or risk. • Support strategic reviews and capability development. • Deliver projects across small to large, complex construction environments.

The ideal candidate has substantial project‑management experience across small to large, complex construction environments and holds professional qualifications such as MCIOB, MAPM or MRICS, or is working towards them. Strong knowledge of project methodologies, construction sequencing, budgets and commercial controls, together with excellent stakeholder communication and a valid CSCS card, is required. • Hold professional qualifications (MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS) or equivalent experience. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of project management methodologies and commercial controls. • Exhibit excellent stakeholder communication and hold a valid CSCS card.
