About the Role

The position entails leading technical delivery with minimal supervision, maintaining effective communication with clients, contractors, and project team members, and overseeing commissioning schedules, quality control, and electrical testing teams. It also includes managing staffing and equipment logistics and facilitating resolution of testing failures. • Lead technical delivery as project lead and technical resource. • Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and team members. • Oversee commissioning schedules, including daily stand‑up, 3‑week look‑ahead, and resource loading. • Direct quality control and electrical testing teams on Mission Critical projects. • Manage logistics for staffing and test equipment specific to each project. • Facilitate resolution of testing failures.

What You Bring

The company seeks an Electrical Lead Commissioning Authority for its Mission Critical team. The role requires a self‑motivated professional experienced in commissioning, facility engineering, construction, and operations of Data Centers. Candidates must have 3‑5 years of progressive experience with medium and low‑voltage electrical systems, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to diagnose and solve construction and operational problems. The role requires teamwork, creative problem‑solving, and willingness to travel more than 75% of the time on national projects. Preferred qualifications include journeyman/master electrician status, an electrical engineering degree or technology degree, and commissioning certification. • Require 3‑5 years of experience with medium and low‑voltage electrical systems. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. • Diagnose and solve construction and operational problems. • Collaborate creatively within a team and solve problems effectively. • Travel 75%+ of the time for national projects. • Preferred: Journeyman or Master Electrician certification. • Preferred: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. • Preferred: Commissioning certification.
