About the Role

Designs and re‑designs routing and logistics solutions by collecting, verifying, and analyzing data on existing routes, vehicles, disposal facilities, and productivity. Assists in developing policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control, and creates and implements plans to optimize routes and other transportation operations. Communicates route changes to key personnel, provides training and transition tools, and monitors activity and productivity results during implementation of new, optimized routes.

What You Bring

The Routing and Logistics Expert researches, develops and implements routing and logistics plans to enhance productivity, safety, and decrease costs. They will communicate route changes to key personnel, and provide necessary training and transitioning tools, while monitoring activity during implementation of new or optimized routes. Must be willing to travel throughout the Market Area (Fresno County to San Diego County) as needed, with overnight stays ranging from a few days to several weeks. Candidates can reside anywhere near a WM site in Southern California and work standard business hours, with occasional holidays and Saturdays. Required qualifications include an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or a high school diploma/GED with two years of relevant work experience. No prior work experience is required beyond the education criteria. Preferred qualifications are not listed. The role primarily operates in a professional office environment, requiring standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines. Benefits

The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $77,970 to $90,000, with the final salary influenced by experience, education, certifications, and location. The position is also eligible for incentive pay.
