About the Role
The Maintenance Technician at The Crawford provides support to residents, ensuring quality move‑ins, resident satisfaction, fast service, and personal attention, while representing Cushman & Wakefield professionally. Key duties include preparing make‑ready apartments (painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs), responding promptly to resident requests, performing plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow‑removal tasks, and maintaining grounds, pools, common areas, and dog‑park amenities. The role may require on‑call availability for after‑hour emergencies, reporting maintenance concerns in vacant units and common areas, following scheduled maintenance, complying with fair‑housing laws, attending required training, adhering to uniform standards, and maintaining safety procedures with reliable attendance. • Prepare make‑ready apartments, including painting, carpet repair, cleaning, and general repairs. • Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests with a professional attitude. • Perform plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow‑removal tasks. • Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog‑park amenities. • Serve on‑call for after‑hour emergencies and report issues in vacant units and common areas. • Follow scheduled maintenance plans and comply with state, local, and federal fair‑housing laws. • Attend required training programs and uphold company uniform and appearance standards. • Adhere to all safety procedures and protect company tools and equipment. • Maintain reliable, punctual attendance and report any tardiness to supervisor.

What You Bring
Required competencies include a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 Type II certification, the ability to read manuals, compute measurements, solve routine problems, write reports, and follow safety rules; a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience are also needed. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification. • Demonstrate ability to read manuals, compute measurements, solve routine problems, and write reports. • Possess a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience. • Be able to stand, walk, use ladders, lift up to 100 lb, and travel between properties.
