About the Role
The role involves preparing detailed reinforcement drawings for concrete structures in line with BS/Euro codes, creating bar bending schedules and detailing reports, and using software such as Cads RC, AutoCAD, Microstation, and Revit 3D reinforcement add‑ons. The designer will collaborate with design engineers, coordinate with other disciplines to ensure constructability, and review all outputs for accuracy and code compliance. • Prepare reinforcement drawings according to BS/Euro codes. • Generate bar bending schedules and detailing reports. • Utilize Cads RC, AutoCAD, Microstation, and Revit 3D reinforcement tools. • Collaborate with design engineers and coordinate cross‑discipline efforts. • Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. • Apply Bentley Rebar and Tekla Structures where relevant. • Develop Dynamo graphs to automate detailing tasks.
