About the Role

In this role you will oversee all Outside Plant construction activities—including underground, aerial, and splicing work—within the telecom, CATV, and FTTH environments. You will lead a team of managers and shop personnel, manage overall project and budget performance, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. • Oversee all phases of utility construction for telecom, CATV, and FTTH projects. • Direct multiple crews, schedule work, and ensure job quality and safety. • Review progress schedules and manage projects to meet deadlines and budgets. • Prepare and interpret drawings, maps, blueprints, contracts, and specifications. • Identify and resolve blueprint issues before and during construction. • Supervise subcontractors, inspect work, and handle billing. • Manage personnel, vehicles, and equipment under your control. • Participate in hiring, maintain employment paperwork, and conduct meetings with senior management and customers. • Contribute to estimating, bidding, contract negotiations, and change orders.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field. • 3–5 years managing telecom construction projects. • Knowledge of coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, and map reading. • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work safely. • Strong problem-solving and hands‑on approach in the field. • Experience supervising site crews and maintaining client/supplier relationships. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) and ability to learn custom software.
