About the Role
The Electrical Engineer I is a hands‑on, full‑time role responsible for leading the electrical portion of engineering projects. The engineer develops design packages, specifies equipment, reviews vendor bids, and serves as the primary technical contact during construction. Scope, schedule, and workflow are managed by the incumbent. • Develop electrical design packages including load lists, one‑lines, circuit schedules, lighting, grounding, cable trays, underground plans, area classification, and 3D model reviews. • Perform electrical calculations, studies, and generate reports for project documentation. • Create equipment specifications and datasheets, and evaluate vendor/contractor bids to support procurement. • Review engineering deliverables for correctness and constructability, and coordinate inter‑departmental responsibilities using a RACI model. • Respond to field‑team inquiries during construction and assist with additional assigned duties.

What You Bring
The role is performed primarily in an office environment with typical distractions, but requires periodic standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lb. A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required. Employees must meet the vision, hearing, and manual dexterity standards described. • 0‑3 years of experience working on multidisciplinary engineering projects. • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science‑related field (or equivalent experience). • Proficiency with engineering software and technology required for daily tasks. • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, and self‑direction skills. • Valid, active driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Clear oral and written communication. • Team‑oriented collaboration and conflict resolution. • Initiative and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
