About the Role

The Associate Photographer role supports Homes.com and Apartments.com by collecting media using a Pro 3 Matterport camera, digital photography equipment, and an iPad. Photographers are assigned a core territory, schedule appointments, scan homes and apartments, and create virtual tours, floor plans, and marketing photography. The position works closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and a remote Photography Manager. • Capture 3‑D virtual tours and floor plans for Homes.com and Apartments.com. • Produce high‑quality residential photographs that showcase properties. • Coordinate schedules with dispatch teams to maximize appointments. • Survey assigned one‑mile grids for commercial data gaps and photograph new inventory. • Follow CoStar safety standards for vehicle and equipment use. • Represent CoStar professionally in all client interactions. • Participate in sales and research conference calls as required.

What You Bring

The job requires up to eight hours per day of sitting in a car, standing, walking, and occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying equipment up to five pounds. Repetitive hand and arm movements are needed to operate camera gear and type on a tablet or laptop. Photographers must be able to work outdoors in all seasons and on rotating weekends. Candidates need at least two years of professional real‑estate photography experience and must hold an FAA Part 107 drone license (or obtain it within 30 days of the offer). Strong time‑management, attention to detail, data‑entry accuracy, and excellent oral and written communication are essential. Proficiency with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications is required, along with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researchers, and management. • Minimum 2 years of real‑estate photography experience. • FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot (or obtain within 30 days). • Proficient with Matterport Pro3, digital cameras, and iPad. • Strong time‑management, detail‑orientation, and data‑entry accuracy. • Excellent oral and written communication; proficient with Windows, macOS, Office, and internet apps. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
