About the Role
The role reports to the Infrastructure Business and will involve collaboration with operational and engineering teams, providing commercial expertise to support estimating and bid activities while maintaining accurate cost plans and monthly reports. • Contribute to creating a safe working environment. • Produce and negotiate subcontract documentation, including terms, prices and schedules. • Manage subcontract work packages, performing interim assessments and handling change management. • Issue commercial notices to the client and subcontractors as required by the contract. • Manage contract changes, preparing compensation event quotations and submitting monthly applications to the client. • Collaborate with operational and engineering teams to maintain proper site records. • Generate detailed monthly reports, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) and maintain a comprehensive cost plan. • Attend progress and risk reduction meetings, applying contractual expertise to support estimating and bid teams.

What You Bring
• Good appreciation of standard forms of contract. • Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word and contract/cost management systems such as CEMAR and Oracle. • Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities. • Solid knowledge of construction processes. • Excellent time and outcome management skills. • Professional qualification such as MCIOB or MRICS (incorporated member preferred, working towards full membership). • Relevant degree or experience in a commercial environment. • CSCS card appropriate for the role.
