About the Role

The technician reads and interprets wiring schematics, drawings, and bills of material, then builds components of both standard and engineered‑to‑order products using hand tools, torque drivers, and pneumatic tools. Work is guided by manufacturing information such as Kanban cards, material‑issue requisitions, and oral or written instructions. The role also includes performing equipment set‑ups, minor troubleshooting, and routine preventative maintenance to keep manufacturing equipment operating at peak performance while ensuring quality through document review and verification checklists. All activities must comply with safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of machinery. The workstation is kept clean, organized, and orderly according to 5S standards, and the employee participates in Lean initiatives to improve processes. • Interpret wiring schematics, drawings, and bills of material. • Build standard and engineered‑to‑order components with hand, torque, and pneumatic tools. • Follow manufacturing instructions from Kanban cards, requisitions, and verbal/written guidance. • Perform equipment set‑ups, minor troubleshooting, and routine preventative maintenance. • Verify quality through document reviews and checklist compliance. • Adhere to safety protocols and use required personal protective equipment. • Maintain a clean, organized 5S work area. • Participate in Lean initiatives to improve processes.
