About the Role

Reporting to the Director of VDC/BIM Services, the BIM Designer will develop, coordinate, and review BIM models for complex construction projects using intermediate-level Revit and Navisworks skills. The position involves creating and managing central models, conducting clash detection, supporting prefabrication, performing quality assurance checks, and mentoring junior team members to ensure models are accurate, constructible, and aligned with project standards. • Develop and maintain BIM models in Revit and Navisworks, managing central files, sheets, views, and families. • Lead clash detection, coordinate meetings, conduct site visits, and support prefabrication efforts. • Perform quality control reviews to ensure compliance with BIM execution plans and NEC requirements. • Mentor junior staff, document updates, and promote workflow improvements. • Apply advanced Revit MEP features, reality capture, and digital layout tools to enhance model accuracy.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of Revit/BIM experience (or seven years in electrical construction), and intermediate knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud. Proficiency with advanced Revit MEP features, Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, and digital layout tools is required, along with strong problem‑solving, communication, and attention‑to‑detail skills. A collaborative, team‑oriented approach, willingness to travel 5–10%, and experience on healthcare, commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical projects are preferred. • Require high school diploma/GED, 3+ years Revit/BIM experience (or 7+ years electrical construction), and proficiency in Autodesk tools, ACC, Microsoft 365, and Bluebeam. • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Willingness to travel 5–10% and work onsite as needed; experience in healthcare, commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical projects preferred.
