About the Role
We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to join Autodesk’s finance team. The role will partner closely with Finance Business Partners, business unit budget owners, and other stakeholders across the organization. It will focus on designing dashboards, reports, and automations to deliver financial insights. The analyst will lead process and tool improvements, making key decisions on forecast, close, and planning processes while recommending and implementing simplifications and automation. They will collaborate with stakeholders to manage quarterly forecasts and close activities, analyze business trends, identify risks and opportunities, explain variances, and consolidate results. Additionally, the role provides financial modeling support for annual planning and investment portfolio analysis and may take on ad‑hoc projects, cross‑company initiatives, and KPI analysis. • Design dashboards, reports, and automation solutions to deliver financial insights. • Lead improvements to forecasting, close, and planning processes and tools. • Partner with business unit budget owners to manage quarterly forecasts, close activities, and variance analysis. • Provide financial modeling support for annual planning and investment portfolio assessments. • Execute ad‑hoc projects, cross‑company collaborations, and KPI analyses to support decision‑making. • Apply an automation‑focused mindset to drive process improvement.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of finance experience, with expertise in forecasting and financial modeling. Candidates must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and be proficient with automation and analytics tools such as Anaplan, Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query, and SAP.
