About the Role
• Design municipal water and wastewater projects, producing drawings, reports, presentations, and regulatory applications. • Coordinate designs with municipal, utility, and approval agencies to obtain required permits. • Liaise with clients and authorities to secure project approvals. • Develop and manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule. • Prepare construction contract documents, including specifications and drawings. • Perform construction inspections, submittal reviews, and respond to RFIs. • Conduct constructability reviews and ensure project QA/QC. • Mentor junior engineers in municipal infrastructure design. • Draft engineering proposals, change orders, and client communications. • Execute tasks accurately with minimal supervision.

What You Bring
GFT is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer to join its Water team in Toronto, Mississauga, or Ottawa, operating under a hybrid work model that requires regular office attendance.
