About the Role

The New Home Consultant manages the new‑home purchase process from the initial customer contact through closing, aiming to leave each buyer “tickled, delighted and happy.” This role handles daily operations at Welcome Home Centers, processes sale agreements, and ensures sales align with Lennar’s business plans. Key responsibilities include engaging visitors to understand their home‑buying needs, self‑generating leads through community outreach, realtor partnerships, and proactive prospecting, and maintaining deep knowledge of market competition and community features. The consultant provides consistent follow‑through from first contact to post‑closing, keeps accurate communication records, participates in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs, and ensures Welcome Home Center models and inventory homes are maintained. • Guide customers through the entire home‑buying journey, from first contact to closing. • Generate and nurture sales leads via community events, realtor partnerships, and proactive prospecting. • Maintain accurate communication records and provide consistent follow‑up after closing. • Represent Lennar at sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs. • Ensure Welcome Home Center models and inventory homes are kept in excellent condition.

What You Bring

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree and real‑estate license preferred, and 1‑2 years of homebuilding or real‑estate sales experience. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, strong communication, organizational and customer‑service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales‑tracking tools, and demonstrate self‑motivation, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. The role requires regular, in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during standard work hours. It is an active position involving office and phone work, walking on uneven surfaces in all weather conditions, and the ability to lift and carry supplies up to 25 pounds. A valid state driver’s license and finger dexterity for computer and telephone use are essential. • Meet qualification criteria: high school diploma (college degree & real estate license preferred), 1‑2 years relevant experience, valid driver’s license, strong communication and organizational skills. • Demonstrate physical ability to work on uneven sites, lift up to 25 lb, and operate in all weather conditions.
