About the Role
• Serve as Talent Acquisition Relationship Manager for assigned business groups. • Develop and maintain staffing priorities and weekly customer relationship reports. • Source, recruit, and staff open positions, focusing on diverse candidate pools. • Partner with hiring managers to create recruitment and selection plans. • Negotiate and manage external recruiting resources such as agencies and internet services. • Coordinate employment offers in collaboration with hiring managers. • Implement talent sourcing strategies including open houses, job fairs, and internet recruiting. • Refer team members to headquarters talent management services for benefits and issue resolution. • Build and maintain relationships across all organization levels. • Advise upper management on hiring decisions with sound recommendations.

What You Bring
Mortenson is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist – Craft to act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and acquire the right talent to support business objectives. The role involves managing relationships with assigned business groups and overseeing staffing priorities and reports. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience. • Minimum four years of recruiting/HR experience; construction craft recruiting is a plus. • Demonstrate strong organizational, prioritization, and teamwork skills. • Proficient with PC software packages such as Excel, Word, and HRIS/databases. • Exhibit excellent communication, active listening, and professional customer service.

Benefits
The base pay for this position ranges from $77,500 to $116,300, with higher ranges for locations like Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C.
