About the Role

The Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) ensures conformance with internal quality standards and external accreditation requirements such as ISO 9001, AISC, and ASME. CWIs conduct inspections, support audits, and collaborate with production teams to maintain certifications and foster a culture of continuous quality improvement. • Assess corporate compliance with the Quality Management System, AISC, and ASME certifications. • Conduct inspections and testing services across shop and field sites. • Monitor construction and fabrication activities to meet client expectations and code requirements. • Record daily logs, photographs, and provide written feedback on inspection findings. • Report QMS progress and observations to the Quality Manager. • Review plans for compliance with building codes, local ordinances, and zoning regulations. • Use survey instruments and testing equipment to verify product alignment, level, and elevation. • Work independently, devise solutions, and adapt standards as needed. • Handle complex problems with guidance and supervisor approval for standard changes.

What You Bring

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred; college degree or equivalent experience. • Indirect supervision with competency in relevant technical areas. • Physical ability to work in dusty, noisy, hazardous environments, climb, lift 50 lb, and operate in adverse weather. • Access to RK University, accredited apprenticeships, and leadership training. • Strong safety culture and industry‑recognized accreditations.
