About the Role

WSP is seeking a Senior Vice President to serve as the Orange County/Southern California Local Business Line Leader for the Transportation Business Line. The leader will work across WSP’s Irvine, Inland Empire and Los Angeles offices, reporting to the California Region leadership team and collaborating closely with the Los Angeles Local Business Leader. The role focuses on expanding WSP’s transportation and infrastructure practice, strengthening regional talent, and delivering solutions for public agencies such as Caltrans, Metrolink, OCTA and other municipal partners. The LBL will drive strategic business development, client engagement and cross‑selling across the transportation portfolio, including highways, bridges, transit, tolling, aviation and multimodal projects. By leveraging WSP’s advisory, planning, energy, water and federal service lines, the leader will ensure integrated, innovative delivery for clients while overseeing operational performance, resource deployment and marketing strategies for the California region. • Drive transportation business performance and grow market share in Southern California. • Lead client coordination, cross‑selling, and represent the Transportation Business Line at civic and industry events. • Leverage WSP’s full suite of services to deliver integrated solutions for highways, bridges, transit, tolling, aviation and multimodal projects. • Partner with the California Region Business Leader to shape vision, culture, talent development and growth strategy. • Recruit, mentor and develop high‑performing, diverse teams across Irvine, Riverside and Los Angeles offices. • Foster an inclusive work environment that values collaboration, innovation and diverse perspectives. • Oversee engineering and technical project delivery, ensuring quality, safety and compliance with WSP guiding principles. • Optimize client and employee experience through regular reviews and continuous process improvement. • Develop local growth forecasts and business development plans in coordination with district, regional and national leaders. • Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as sales, EBITDA, utilization, backlog and inclusion metrics. • Encourage innovation and emerging service offerings to maintain thought‑leadership in transportation. • Support professional development of staff and promote technical expertise.

What You Bring

• Minimum 15 years of A/E/C experience with a transportation focus; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Planning or related field. • Proven leadership, strong business acumen, established client relationships in Southern California, and ability to travel between offices.
