About the Role

• Execute high-quality FCAW welding processes on structural steel. • Set up and adjust welding equipment as required for specific tasks. • Fabricate, drill, grind, and assemble bridge girder components per project specifications. • Perform FCAW welding and other assembly operations to meet production standards. • Utilize tools, clamps, and fixtures to ensure proper alignment and fit of materials. • Work is performed indoors in a large warehouse or outside in all weather conditions. • May be required to climb heights for work.

What You Bring

• Weld in multiple positions, including flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead. • 1+ years of experience in welding; FCWA required. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Quality, accuracy, thoroughness, and reliability of work performed. • Adherence to maintaining a great attendance record and dependability. • Able to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally. • Must be able to push/move objects up to 100 lbs of force. • Necessary to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, and work at heights. • Must have a good range of motion when reaching forward, shoulder to overhead, and bending. • Regular exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, heavy steel, heights, and other possible hazardous conditions. • Safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots are required; a respirator is required for specific operations.

Benefits

Welder starting pay is $24.57‑$28.05 based on shift, with weekly pay. First shift runs 5 AM‑4:20 PM Monday‑Thursday, second shift 4:30 PM‑4:30 AM Monday‑Thursday, and weekend shift 5 AM‑5 PM Friday‑Sunday. Double time is paid after 50 hours worked in a week.
