About the Role
The Electronic Technician role involves installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying various electronic equipment such as ground common radio, digital wideband, and multiband networking communication devices, and completing associated documentation. The position requires the ability to lift 50 lb, provide technical guidance to junior staff, and perform additional tasks as assigned. • Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify ground radio and networking communication equipment. • Complete required documentation for all electronic work performed. • Lift up to 50 lb and safely handle electronic components. • Provide technical assistance, guidance, or training to lower‑level technicians. • Obtain and maintain a tactical vehicle operator license, Secret Clearance, and Base Access.

What You Bring
Candidates must have completed the Military Basic Electronics Course and Ground Transmission Systems Repair Course (or equivalent), five years of related experience, and may substitute an AA degree in electronics plus certifications such as DoD 8570 IAT II or FCC General Radio Telephone Operator License. Required knowledge includes radio transmitters/receivers, wave propagation, electrical principles, circuit components, antennas, and the ability to obtain a tactical vehicle operator license, a Secret Clearance, and Base Access. • Hold the Military Basic Electronics Course and Ground Transmission Systems Repair Course (or equivalent). • Possess at least five years of directly related electronic maintenance experience. • Have an AA degree in electronics or equivalent certifications (e.g., DoD 8570 IAT II, FCC General Radio Telephone Operator License). • Demonstrate knowledge of radio transmitters/receivers, wave propagation, electrical principles, circuits, antennas, and feed lines. • U.S. citizenship required.
