About the Role

The Project HR Coordinator supports on‑site Human Resources operations by coordinating craft and administrative HR activities, ensuring compliance, supporting employee relations, and partnering closely with Project Management, Safety, and administrative personnel to maintain efficient onboarding, workforce tracking, and employee engagement on the project site. • Assist in coordinating training schedules and apprenticeship nominations with Craft Workforce Development. • Compile and distribute weekly manpower reports and MOR updates; support workforce planning and RIF activities. • Process Craft Corrective Action Notices (CANs) with Superintendents, Project Managers, and HR, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Notify craft employees of benefits enrollment deadlines and assist with selections, open enrollment, and LOA/FMLA coordination. • Process craft terminations and layoffs in HCM and communicate updates to Craft Workforce Development. • Serve as backup for craft orientation: set up orientation trailer, complete I‑9s, deliver benefits presentations, and handle E‑Verify processing. • Support employee relations matters for craft and administrative staff with guidance from senior HR. • Track performance evaluations, upload signed documents to OneDrive, and distribute weekly completion reports. • Must comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb. • Sit, stand, or walk short distances for the duration of the shift.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of HR coordination or project‑based HR experience, preferably in construction or industrial environments. • Associate or bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred. • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred. • Experience supporting employee relations and corrective‑action processes. • Ability to travel 5‑10% intra‑ and inter‑state. • Proficiency with HRIS/HCM systems, Microsoft Office, and document‑management platforms (e.g., OneDrive). • Strong communication skills for interaction with craft professionals, leadership, and HR teams. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. • Working knowledge of I‑9, E‑Verify, onboarding, and HR compliance requirements. • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or bending required. • Frequent use of hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects. • Frequent interaction with people and technology during shift. • Frequent use of telephone, computer, email, and other electronic devices for communication.
