About the Role

The Senior EHS Specialist will support a key Global Occupier Services client in North America, reporting to the Global EHS Manager. This role implements Service Level Agreements, Statements of Work, and policies for Cushman & Wakefield, ensuring facilities comply with regulations, align with the client’s safety culture, and keep all employees safe. The specialist assists in establishing and maintaining an environmental, health, and safety program for C&W personnel and third‑party providers, advises the client on EH&S issues, engages field operations, evaluates hazards, drives safety culture, manages AED maintenance, participates in safety committees, conducts risk assessments, supports contractor qualification, tracks incidents, coordinates corrective actions, oversees inspections and life‑safety equipment, administers safety training, manages chemical inventories, ensures LOTO compliance, performs regulatory inspections, maintains signage, prepares regulatory reports, interfaces with teams and contractors, ensures compliance with all EHS programs, manages alarm systems, oversees the learning management system, implements COVID‑19 precautions, coordinates inspection access, supports incident investigations, produces EHS statistics, identifies risks, creates job hazard assessments, assesses existing programs, identifies training needs, advises contractors, communicates lessons learned, investigates incidents, and conducts floor walks to coach safe work behaviors. • Advise client on EH&S issues • Engage field operations with tactical EHS program execution • Evaluate hazardous situations and ensure regulatory compliance • Administer processes aligned with client’s EHS Management System • Drive safety culture among personnel, contractors, and subcontractors • Manage AED maintenance program with monthly visual checks and repairs • Participate in Client Safety Committee and complete assigned action items • Identify and assess risks for C&W employees and contractors • Support GOS EHS contractor qualification system • Track incidents, injuries, and near‑misses; produce post‑incident reports • Coordinate corrective and preventive actions and lessons learned • Track inspections and maintenance of life‑safety and emergency equipment • Administer safety training covering hazardous energy, electrical, chemical, waste, PPE, etc. • Maintain site chemical inventory and conduct annual chemical audits • Perform and record job hazard assessments (JHA) for critical tasks • Ensure LOTO training and client policy adherence • Conduct regulatory compliance inspections of operational infrastructure • Perform safety inspections, report findings, and evaluate corrective actions • Maintain safety, fire safety, and egress signage • Prepare and submit environmental and safety regulatory reports • Interface with teams and contractors to ensure EH&S‑compliant building modifications • Confirm compliance of all personnel and subcontractors with client EHS programs • Ensure proper function and annual inspection of UST alarm and detection systems • Implement corrective actions and lessons learned from EHS incidents • Manage Learning Management System and assign role‑based trainings • Coordinate COVID‑19 precautions as required • Notify clients of governmental or regulatory inspection requests promptly • Coordinate access for inspections with client permission • Support incident investigations using online reporting system • Administer EHS processes for the client account • Produce and analyze EHS statistics for senior management • Identify and evaluate operational EHS risks • Create job hazard assessments with field teams • Assess existing EHS programs for alignment with account strategy • Identify training needs based on operational risks and ensure delivery • Advise contractors on corrective actions for identified deficiencies • Investigate incident reports and recommend preventive measures • Conduct floor walks, document observations, and coach safe work behaviors

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or Environmental Sciences, and have at least five years of EHS experience. Required knowledge includes OSHA and EPA regulations, and candidates should be able to lead multiple projects, use Microsoft Office and SharePoint, travel up to 15%, and obtain professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, or CHMM. • Communicate lessons learned via Significant Events and Potential Events • Bachelor of Science degree required; safety, engineering, or environmental focus preferred • Minimum five years of EHS professional experience • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time • Desirable: professional certifications (CSP, ASP, CHMM)

The position offers a salary range of $69,700 to $82,000 and includes comprehensive benefits such as health, vision, dental, flexible spending and health‑savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off.
