About the Role

The role is Project Manager for oil and gas projects, responsible for managing personnel, overseeing overall project delivery, and ensuring programs are safe, efficient, and technically sound in line with contractual obligations and company standards. The manager coordinates the selection and assignment of qualified professionals, reviews and approves weekly and monthly planning, scheduling and reporting, and maintains liaison with clients and subcontractors to address work issues, pricing, and contract renewals. They handle staff problems, identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure milestones, procurement schedules, and budgets are established and maintained. Key duties include monitoring budgets, value‑engineering proposals, and contractor claims, assisting clients with contractor evaluations, tendering and change‑order management, and overseeing the handover process, encompassing snagging, documentation, training, and operational readiness. • Manage assigned personnel and overall project delivery. • Coordinate safe, efficient, technically sound programs per contracts and standards. • Select and assign qualified professionals and craft employees. • Approve planning and implementation of weekly/monthly activities, scheduling, and reporting. • Maintain liaison with clients and subcontractors, assist with pricing and contract renewals. • Resolve staff problems and implement risk mitigation strategies. • Ensure milestones, procurement schedules, and budgets are established and maintained. • Monitor budgets, value‑engineering proposals, and contractor claims. • Assist client with contractor evaluations, tendering, and change‑order management. • Oversee handover process including snagging, documentation, training, and operational readiness.

What You Bring

Qualifications require a B.Sc. in an engineering discipline (a Master’s degree is a plus), at least 20 years of experience with 15 years in oil and gas and a minimum of 10 years as a Project Manager. Candidates must have excellent English proficiency, with Arabic being an added advantage. Essential skills encompass a deep understanding of regulations, codes, and authority processes, strong leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities, excellent communication and coordination, proficiency in project‑management tools and reporting systems, and strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. • B.Sc. in engineering (Master’s degree a plus). • Minimum 20 years total experience, 15 years in Oil & Gas, 10 years as Project Manager. • Excellent command of English; Arabic advantageous. • Deep understanding of regulations, codes, and authority processes. • Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management skills. • Excellent communication and coordination abilities. • Proficiency with project‑management tools and reporting systems. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
