About the Role

As a member of the design team, the graduate will assist senior designers in developing cohesive, rational solutions that meet project briefs while adhering to technical, legal and financial constraints. Contributions include participating in team meetings, aiding schematic and design‑development phases, and ensuring design intent is accurately translated into documentation. • Work alongside Design Directors on hospitality, commercial, mixed‑use, entertainment and retail projects. • Develop schematic designs, design development packages and construction documents. • Produce graphic presentation materials and research appropriate systems, materials and finishes. • Assist with space‑planning, FF&E selection and specification creation. • Utilize Autodesk Revit and Rhino for design authoring and documentation. • Apply computational design tools such as Grasshopper or Dynamo. • Conduct building performance analysis using Insight, Sefaira, Diva or Ladybug. • Create real‑time visualizations with Enscape or Twinmotion. • Operate under a 24‑hour weekly schedule, Monday‑Wednesday, 8 am‑5 pm.

What You Bring

Gensler UAE is hiring an Interior Design Graduate on a part‑time basis. The role works Monday through Wednesday, 8 am to 5 pm, totaling 24 hours per week, and supports a range of hospitality, commercial, mixed‑use, entertainment and retail projects. Candidates should have 0–2 years of experience in commercial, retail or hospitality interiors, a bachelor’s degree from an accredited design school, and strong communication and problem‑solving abilities. Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, and an understanding of materials, finishes and FF&E are required. The position expects working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Rhino for design authoring, as well as exposure to computational design tools such as Grasshopper or Dynamo and building‑performance software. Real‑time visualization using Enscape or Twinmotion is also valued. • Must possess 0‑2 years interior design experience, a design bachelor’s degree, strong Adobe InDesign skills and solid graphic/visualization ability.
