About the Role
The position is Security Head for the Godrej Centre Hebbal site in Bengaluru, reporting to the Property Manager. The role oversees safety and security, prevents lapses, and acts as first responder to emergencies. Core duties include supervising security staff, assigning tasks, providing training, maintaining policies and checklists, managing security panels and fire‑life‑safety compliance, handling manpower records, conducting weekly fire drills, patrolling, controlling access, investigating incidents, preparing reports, and coordinating with tenants, vendors and emergency services. Additional responsibilities cover disaster‑management planning, weekly vendor meetings, performance monitoring, budgeting for security needs, and ensuring customer briefings for site employees. • Supervise and train security staff on procedures, customer service, life safety, and first aid. • Maintain and update security policies, checklists, and procedure manuals. • Manage security panels, fire and life‑safety code compliance, and access‑control systems. • Keep records for on‑roll and contract personnel, including training and scheduling. • Conduct weekly fire drills and regular patrols of elevators and ingress/egress points. • Control building access, monitor visitors, and investigate incidents with reports. • Coordinate emergency response, including medical evacuation and liaison with authorities. • Develop disaster‑management plans and lead fire, evacuation, and crisis drills. • Hold weekly meetings with vendors, review after‑hours reports, and monitor staff performance. • Prepare and manage security budgets and staffing requirements.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a degree, has 5‑8 years of security experience (commercial preferred), is analytical, meticulous, communicates well and can develop short‑ and long‑term security solutions while demonstrating integrity. • Possess a degree and 5‑8 years of security experience, preferably in commercial property. • Demonstrate analytical, meticulous, and integrity‑driven approach to security operations. • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
