About the Role
The role provides administrative and financial services to a profit center, reporting to the Senior Accountant or Financial Manager in Finance Reporting HQ. Responsibilities include supporting billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, monthly close, asset updates, project closeout, and audit requests. • Assist accountant to ensure client contractual requirements are met for billing and accounts receivable. • Support accountant in auditing client billing and project ledger per contract, GAAP, and company policy. • Process vendor invoices and maintain up‑to‑date accounts payable for assigned projects. • Process subcontractor invoices, ensuring lien waivers, contracts, and insurance requirements are in place. • Assist with monthly close, posting or accruing client bills and project costs as needed. • Provide monthly updates on project assets and rentals for insurance documentation. • Assist with project financial closeout, confirming final contract amounts and required documentation. • Respond to internal and external audit requests. • Follow established procedures and execute directions without additional management follow‑up.

What You Bring
Physical demands include climbing stairs and ladders, using construction hoists, and occasional lifting of heavy weights, with vision requirements such as close and peripheral sight. The work environment is on‑site at construction locations, exposing employees to moving machinery, heights, fumes, weather, and noise ranging from moderate to very loud. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education, training, and experience. • General knowledge of basic accounting principles. • Ability to research problems, resolve them, escalate when needed, learn quickly, and meet deadlines. • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, accurate, and self‑checking. • Capable of independent work, with some oversight, and effective teamwork. • Strong work ethic, integrity, dependability, adaptability, cooperation, and motivation to take on new responsibilities. • Professional written and verbal communication skills and general office abilities. • Data entry proficiency and competence with databases and MS Office applications.
