About the Role
• Advise private and public sector clients on infrastructure and natural resource management projects. • Lead and coordinate terrestrial ecosystem surveys and impact assessments for flora, fauna, biodiversity and habitat. • Conduct environmental analysis, research and field surveys. • Produce technical reports and contribute to proposal and tender development. • Drive efficient and effective delivery of all Ecology projects. • Manage project life cycles, ensuring accountability for time, cost and quality. • Provide input to strategic planning and business unit initiatives. • Build and maintain client relationships while pursuing new business opportunities. • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a high‑performance culture. • Support business development leaders on opportunities and pursuits.

What You Bring
Our Environment team delivers strategic and practical solutions for clients facing environmental management challenges. We are seeking a Senior or Principal Terrestrial Ecologist with BAM accreditation to lead our Ecology practice across NSW, working alongside experts in Marine, Aquatic, and Terrestrial Ecology on projects throughout the Asia Pacific region. The position involves both office and field work; candidates must be physically able to stand and work in remote field locations for extended periods. • Hold tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or Ecology. • Possess at least five years of post‑graduate ecology experience in consulting, construction or regulatory environments. • Maintain BAM accreditation (or be working towards it) and strong NSW flora, fauna and ecological community identification skills. • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of NSW/ACT standards and legislation. • Hold a valid driver’s licence; 4WD experience preferred. • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, collaborative and commercial acumen. • Physically capable of standing and working in remote field conditions for extended periods.
