About the Role

A Relief Driver‑ CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, providing prompt, courteous, complete waste removal services. The driver ensures the vehicle meets safety standards before operation, adheres to all company, state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address defects promptly. • Perform pre- and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues • Safely operate the collection truck along assigned routes and to disposal sites • Operate controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste • Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers per procedures • Monitor waste for unacceptable material • Clean accidental waste spills following safety standards • Monitor vehicle condition, clean packer blade and truck body during trips • Complete route/productivity sheets, VCRs, and required reports • Maintain required productivity standards to service customers efficiently • Follow all safety policies and procedures • Participate actively in the ReSOP program • Manage time efficiently to complete responsibilities safely • Follow through on schedules and challenges • Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and avoid inappropriate risks

What You Bring

The role requires strong customer service, time management, and follow‑through abilities, as well as a commitment to safety and company policies. Candidates should possess a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with air‑brake endorsement, and two years of commercial truck driving experience is preferred. • Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and honesty • Two years of commercial truck driving experience preferred • Hold a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with air‑brake endorsement
