About the Role
The role leads a team in designing, developing, and deploying cloud‑native mobile applications using AWS, APIs, and SDKs, while also mentoring engineers and driving best‑in‑class Node.js and React.js patterns across the group. Key duties include code reviews, managing Git pull requests, overseeing deployment processes with thorough testing, ensuring solutions meet business requirements on time and budget, and collaborating with stakeholders, infrastructure, IT teams, and vendors. • Lead design, development, and deployment of mobile apps on AWS. • Mentor and guide a team of engineers. • Establish Node.js best practices (Express.js, Nest.js). • Promote advanced React.js techniques (HOCs, error boundaries, code splitting). • Conduct code reviews and approve Git pull requests. • Oversee code deployment and change testing. • Ensure solutions align with business requirements, timelines, and budgets. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, infrastructure, IT teams, and vendors.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a technical field, at least 7 years of software development experience, 2+ years of lead‑level work with React.js and Node.js, 3+ years of cloud experience (AWS or Azure), and solid knowledge of microservices, testing frameworks, SQL/NoSQL databases, Agile TDD, and container orchestration. The position is primarily sedentary office work with physical abilities to lift up to 25 lb and requires strong communication, inclusive team building, and a DevOps mindset that includes CI/CD, automation, and monitoring. • 7+ years software development; 2+ years lead-level React/Node experience. • 3+ years cloud computing (AWS or Azure) and microservices architecture. • Proficient with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha) and TDD. • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and schema design. • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. • Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, and REST API design. • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and OOP design skills.
