Process Engineer
Design and support LNG and natural gas process facilities, from modeling to commissioning.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Design processes for LNG, propane, and other natural‑gas facilities. • Define process requirements in collaboration with project managers, other disciplines, and customers. • Perform process modeling and engineering calculations to size equipment. • Size, specify, obtain quotes, and select major process equipment. • Coordinate with equipment suppliers during design and fabrication; attend factory‑acceptance tests. • Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). • Assist other disciplines with process design, equipment selection, and operational needs. • Participate in cross‑discipline design reviews and Process Hazard Analyses (PHA). • Create sequences of operation, alarm lists, and interlock documents for controls programming. • Support startup and commissioning, including commissioning plans, operating procedures, and performance testing. • Evaluate existing processes for troubleshooting, optimization, or expansion. • Conduct training for customer operations staff. • Travel 15‑20% of time to customer sites for evaluations, troubleshooting, or commissioning.

What You Bring
• BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; PE or EIT/FE preferred. • 10+ years of process engineering experience. • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with process modeling software a plus. • Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation abilities. • Ability to work effectively in teams and build relationships with customers and vendors. • Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines. • Ability to work safely around operating equipment and construction sites.
