About the Role
The role supports the preparation of geotechnical reports by conducting analysis and collaborating with senior staff, while also managing construction materials testing (CMT) projects, reviewing daily reports, and training field personnel. Responsibilities include overseeing project budgets for both geotechnical and CMT assignments, preparing invoices, and supervising field crews on drilling and test pit activities. Additional duties may involve site layout design, utility clearance coordination, geological research, in‑situ testing, soil classification, and proposal development. • Prepare geotechnical reports and provide analysis with senior staff. • Manage construction materials testing (CMT) projects, review daily reports, resolve issues, and train field staff. • Oversee project budgets for geotechnical and CMT projects and generate invoices. • Design boring and test pit layouts and assess site access. • Create drilling packages and obtain utility clearances. • Research local geologic history. • Supervise drilling and test pit crews and address rig access challenges. • Conduct in‑situ and specialized geotechnical field testing. • Classify soils and coordinate laboratory testing. • Assist in preparing proposals for geotechnical and CMT projects.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field. No prior experience is required, and a professional engineering license is not mandatory for this entry‑level position, though it may be needed for future advancement. A valid driver’s license is required for any driving duties performed on behalf of ECS subsidiaries.
