About the Role
Reporting to the National Services Manager, the Service Operations Manager leads a team of field service technicians, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and alignment with strategic growth objectives while building strong customer partnerships. The role involves close collaboration with multi‑divisional teams, overseeing daily service operations, customer training, contract execution, and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver high‑quality service and support customer success. • Direct daily field service operations, including equipment commissioning, scheduled/unscheduled service calls, and warranty case handling. • Coordinate customer training and technical support to ensure safe and effective equipment operation. • Ensure accurate maintenance logs, work order quality, and timely invoicing in accordance with finance procedures. • Build, mentor and retain a high‑performing team of OEM‑expert technicians, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. • Maintain regular communication with customers and internal stakeholders, conduct KPI reviews and develop action plans to improve equipment efficiency. • Provide regular performance reports covering KPIs, OKRs and progress against SMART objectives to senior management. • Plan and secure tools, test equipment, spare parts, logistics, safety permits and site access for service jobs. • Apply systems‑level knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, electricity, automation and pneumatics to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. • Comply with environmental, health and safety policies, conduct risk assessments and report unsafe conditions or incidents. • Travel up to 50 % across British Columbia to oversee customer operations and service delivery.

What You Bring
• Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance management or field service operations within mining or heavy equipment industries. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field (or equivalent experience) and proficiency with CMMS platforms such as Maximo.
