Software Development Engineering (High Tech) - Senior Professional

About the Role

The engineer will translate user requirements into actionable technical stories, develop features across multiple subsystems, and ensure high‑quality delivery following established processes. They will also investigate technology improvements, communicate status to stakeholders, and mentor junior team members while handling production incidents as needed. • Translate user requirements into technical stories with estimates • Design, code, test, and deploy features across multiple application subsystems • Evaluate and recommend technology upgrades and improvements • Produce status reports, dashboards, and service logs for stakeholders • Ensure deliveries adhere to process and quality standards • Mentor and guide junior developers on tasks and assignments • Diagnose and resolve production incidents promptly • Customize Windchill PLM (workflows, listeners, data utilities, validators, lifecycle, OIR, events) on version 11.0+ • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with SAP PO/PI systems • Use IDEs such as Eclipse or NetBeans for development • Write and optimize Oracle SQL queries, procedures, and functions • Conduct peer code reviews and apply corrections • Document and manage server configurations • Follow agile development methodology and use ALM tools (RTC, VersionOne, Integrity) • Perform data migration/ETL processes using Windchill Business Modeler (WBM) • Work with Windchill modules like SUMA, Service Information Manager, Translation Management, and Supplier Collaboration • Build dashboards and visualizations with ThingWorx

What You Bring

Success in this position requires deep experience with Windchill PLM customization, including workflows, listeners, and lifecycle management on version 11.0+. Candidates should be proficient in core Java/J2EE, RESTful API development, Oracle database scripting, and integration with SAP ERP systems, as well as familiar with agile practices and ALM tools. Additional expertise in data migration/ETL using WBM, familiarity with Windchill modules such as SUMA and Service Information Manager, and knowledge of ThingWorx dashboarding are highly valued. Strong command of IDEs, peer code reviews, and server configuration documentation completes the technical profile. • Program in Core Java/J2EE and apply OOP principles
