About the Role

The Facilities Maintenance Technician I supports essential preventive maintenance and repair of building plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and control systems, as well as refrigeration and air‑conditioning units. Typical activities include filter changes, coil cleaning, floor‑drain maintenance, lighting replacement, painting, drywall work, basic carpentry, equipment inspections, and the assembly or removal of signage and furniture. • Troubleshoot, repair, and monitor all equipment and amenities • Diagnose equipment and process issues collaboratively with team members • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and tasks • Replace HVAC filters and interior/exterior light bulbs as needed • Use computer‑based CMMS to create, update, and close work orders with labor, equipment, and parts data • Conduct seasonal snow and ice removal, including shoveling, applying de‑icing agents, and operating snow blowers or plows • Carry a company radio/cell phone for site‑wide communication • Provide flexible hour coverage and participate in an emergency on‑call schedule • Assist external service personnel, inspectors, and vendors • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and comply with OSHA, safety, and PPE requirements • Collaborate with airport personnel and team members to support daily operations

What You Bring

The role is full‑time with additional hours as needed, requiring the ability to stand, walk on varied surfaces, lift up to 75 lb, and work in inclement weather while adhering to OSHA and PPE standards. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED; vocational training or at least one year of facilities or aviation ground‑support experience is preferred. The position requires a valid driver’s license, successful completion of drug, background, FAA, and driving‑history checks, and flexibility for emergency on‑call coverage. • High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in mechanics, electrical systems, or aviation maintenance preferred • Minimum one year of experience in facilities maintenance, mechanical/electrical systems, or aviation ground support (preferred) • Experience performing preventive maintenance on equipment; familiarity with passenger boarding bridges and conveyor belt systems is a plus • Ability to stand for long periods, walk on uneven/slippery surfaces, reach, twist, kneel, bend, squat, and climb ladders • Capable of lifting, dragging, carrying, or pushing up to 75 lb and operating tools, computers, and office equipment • Possess a valid driver’s license and pass drug, Keystone Management, FAA, and driving‑history background checks • Flexible and reliable for all shifts to support projects and clients
