About the Role
The Shipping and Transportation Coordinator processes daily inbound and outbound shipments, maintains accurate records, monitors inventory, and facilitates communication between operations and transportation to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with customer requirements. • Ensure inbound trucks have proper documentation and verify incoming shipments through physical counts • Process outbound shipments promptly with correct documentation and a photo log • Enter high‑volume data accurately for inventory, production, and product movement tracking • Distribute orders, waybills, and related documents to designated recipients daily • Consolidate yard paperwork and route information to the correct location or person • Monitor shipments to meet customer‑specific requirements • Support transportation functions during emergency response situations • Facilitate communication between operations and transportation for timely deliveries • Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle‑count reconciliation and annual physical counts • Participate and contribute to the company safety program

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of shipping/transportation experience and data‑entry experience, and possess strong organizational, computer, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team and handle multiple tasks with high attention to detail. • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalence • Experience: 1 year shipping/transportation, 1 year data entry; manufacturing experience preferred • Strong organizational skills • Computer proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills • Ability to handle multiple requests and assignments • High attention to detail • Strong interpersonal skills • Work effectively independently and within a team • Read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and correspondence • Write simple correspondence • Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small‑group settings • Perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals • Previous experience with MRP systems (desired) • Ability to purchase company stock
