Assist data center operations by installing, testing, and supporting customer equipment and connections.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Install server, network, and cross‑connect cable; rack and stack customer equipment. • Install intra‑cage fiber trays, ladder racks, cabinets, and infrastructure components such as whalebone cable management, public fiber trays, carrier ladder racks, AC/DC power trays, security trays, and cash mesh. • Install and test advanced cross‑connect circuits (switched, multiplexed) and Equinix Link cross‑connects (T1, DS3, OC3‑48, Ethernet, GigE, 10Gig). • Perform semi‑routine testing and installations of customer assets and layer‑1 cross‑connect certification. • Support customer satisfaction by adhering to execution order requirements and providing timely, high‑quality service. • Provide time‑based support for new deployments and alterations following standard operating procedure guidelines. • Complete all assigned documentation and reporting training promptly.
