About the Role
The primary purpose of the position is to perform advanced technical and engineering problem‑solving in support of nuclear plant operations, making technical decisions and applying deep knowledge of functional disciplines, industry codes, and regulations. • Provide in‑depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs. • Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical consultation. • Manage engineering task assignments and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work. • Maintain configuration management and apply standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in plans and specifications. • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses for regulatory and technical projects. • Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, and address design or material flaws. • Participate in emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and support outage activities outside the department. • Maintain required access authorizations and meet medical examination requirements. • Utilize AutoCAD expertise for engineering documentation. • Ensure compliance with industry codes and regulations throughout all engineering activities.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications vary by level: entry‑level analysts need a bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or an associate’s degree with one year of nuclear experience, or a high school diploma with two years of nuclear experience); mid‑level analysts require a bachelor’s degree plus two years of nuclear experience (or equivalent combinations); senior analysts require a bachelor’s degree with five years of nuclear experience (or equivalent). All levels must maintain required access authorizations and pass medical examinations. • Entry‑level (E01) qualification: Bachelor’s in a technical field (non‑engineer) OR associate’s degree + 1 yr nuclear experience OR high school diploma + 2 yr nuclear experience; access and medical clearance required. • Mid‑level (E02) qualification: Bachelor’s in a technical field + 2 yr nuclear experience OR associate’s degree + 3 yr nuclear experience OR high school diploma + 5 yr nuclear experience; working knowledge of engineering processes required. • Senior (E03) qualification: Bachelor’s in a technical field + 5 yr nuclear experience OR associate’s degree + 7 yr nuclear experience OR high school diploma + 8 yr nuclear experience (5 yr at exempt level); working knowledge of engineering processes required.
