About the Role

The leader must guide, motivate, and engage the team to deliver on functional expectations, both leading and lagging indicators, while also driving customer engagement and satisfaction. This involves establishing customer‑facing KPIs, capturing the voice of the customer through periodic meetings, and ensuring timely resolution of queries and feedback. Planning, scheduling, and managing defined business services are critical to meet agreed timelines, budgets, quality criteria, and commitments. The team should own and drive Business Impact goals such as revenue risk, supplier delivery performance, and clear‑to‑build based on a 120‑day MPS plan, while deploying strong process rigor through QMS for escalation management, root‑cause analysis, risk mitigation, and competency development. Coaching team members in continuous improvement, conducting proactive data mining to identify leakages, and providing recommendations are key functions. Candidates must have 13+ years of materials‑management experience in manufacturing or SCM, a graduate degree with a Master’s in Materials/Production/Operations Management, and deep knowledge of replenishment planning, MRP, forecasting accuracy, days‑on‑hand, as well as familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, including SIOP and inventory teams, to improve key Materials metrics. • Lead and develop a team of 10+ members, handling talent management, hiring, mentoring, and succession planning. • Drive customer engagement, build KPIs, and ensure timely resolution of queries and feedback. • Plan, schedule, and manage business services to meet timelines, budget, and quality commitments. • Enable achievement of Business Impact goals such as revenue risk, supplier delivery performance, and clear‑to‑build metrics. • Implement QMS processes for escalation management, root‑cause analysis, risk mitigation, and competency development. • Coach team members in continuous improvement and drive high‑impact issue turnaround. • Conduct proactive data mining to identify leakages and recommend improvements.

The role requires prior team‑management experience in the SCM domain and leadership of a team of 10+ members. Responsibilities include building organizational capability through development plans, mentoring, accountability, cross‑training, succession planning, talent acquisition, and gap assessments to meet business requirements. • Align Business SCM Leadership through strong communication and presentation skills. • Require 13+ years of experience in materials management within manufacturing or SCM. • Hold a graduate degree with a Master’s in Materials, Production, or Operations Management. • Possess strong functional knowledge of replenishment planning, MRP, forecasting accuracy, and days‑on‑hand. • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
