About the Role
In this position you will lead schedule management, provide planning governance, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that project performance meets quality, cost and time targets. You will also act as a subject‑matter expert for planning and scheduling methodologies within the assigned team. • Capture project work scope with stakeholders, developing PBS, WBS, SOW and Basis of Estimate. • Provide planning process support, governance and guidance to the delivery team and level‑3 planners. • Identify schedule impact issues within the CAS and proactively propose solutions within quality, cost and time baselines. • Analyse Earned Value Management data and reports to monitor project performance. • Apply Earned Value Techniques for accurate cost profiling and performance reporting. • Coach, mentor and train planners across the business on best‑practice scheduling.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has extensive experience developing schedules in complex environments, a willingness to pursue APM membership, and strong proficiency with Primavera P6. Desirable credentials include Project Planning and Controls, the APM Project Management Qualification, or an HNC/Fundamental Degree in a related field, together with a Security Check clearance. • Proven experience creating and managing schedules in complex, multi‑disciplinary projects. • Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software and its advanced functionality. • Willingness to become an associate or full member of the Association for Project Management (APM). • Desirable: Project Planning and Controls (PPC) or APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ). • Desirable: HNC or Foundation Degree in a relevant discipline. • Ability to obtain a Security Check clearance; UK nationality or MoD‑approved dual nationality required.
