About the Role

• Complete hydraulic design projects for storm drainage, bridge/culvert, neighborhood, and erosion control under project manager supervision. • Provide engineering design, support, and assistance for transportation group projects. • Prepare civil engineering design documents, technical reports, SWPPPs, scopes of work, and fee estimates. • Supervise and mentor junior staff as needed.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and have 5‑10 years of water‑resources or related engineering experience. A Georgia Professional Engineer license is required or must be obtained within one year. Proficiency is needed in FEMA flood studies, MicroStation V8i or OpenRoads, and hydraulic design software such as HEC‑RAS, HY8, FlowMaster, Pond Pack, StormCAD, and HEC‑RAS 2D, with GDOT or municipal experience preferred. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally are also required. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 5‑10 years of water‑resources/engineering experience. • Obtain Georgia Professional Engineer licensure within one year. • Proficient in FEMA Flood Studies, MicroStation V8i/OpenRoads, HEC‑RAS, HY8, FlowMaster, Pond Pack, StormCAD, and HEC‑RAS 2D. • Preferred GDOT and municipal project experience; willing to travel occasionally and possess a valid driver’s license. • NV5 provides equal employment opportunities and adheres to all applicable non‑discrimination laws.
